How Much Time Employees Spend on Cell Phones and Personal Tasks [Infographic]

It’s easy for workers to get distracted with all that the summer and today’s 24/7 news cycle offer. It doesn’t help that a new OfficeTeam survey finds a good portion of employees’ time is also being wasted on cell phones and personal activities. Professionals said they squander an average of 56 minutes per day using their mobile device for non-work activities in the office. Workers also admitted to clocking 42 minutes a day on personal tasks.

All in all, the average employee could be wasting more than 8 hours per work week on activities unrelated to the job!
